Scholarships

West Falls Conservation Society will award one or more $500 scholarships, when possible, each year. Applicants must be a high school senior or a currently matriculated college student. The applicant must be determined to pursue postsecondary studies in any of the following fields: Biology, Game/ Forest Conservation, Environmental Science, Law Enforcement, and other areas of benefit to the Sportsman.

In addition, applicants will be considered who can demonstrate that outdoor and conservation related activities have had a significant impact on their upbringing. Selection criteria may include, but is not limited to: academic performance, financial need, and a strong commitment to one’s personal goals and strength of written statement.

Prospective candidates may download the application from the website. Applicants must complete the application, attach a current transcript, include 2 letters of recommendation and any other supporting documentation and mail to the club address - to the attention of the “Scholarship Committee.” If any portion of the application is missing, incomplete, or inappropriate, it will disqualify the applicant from consideration.
